![]() That's how Kate feels about Persephone, and I really felt for her. ![]() ![]() She's had it first, then rejected it, leaving the leftovers to you. From your mother, to your husband, to your job, even. And then you find out that that person is your sister. Imagine having a someone whom you can never live up to. She knew how hard it would be to face Henry's first wife, the woman she is endlessly compared to, but she did it anyway, for the good of everyone. What I really liked were the events that led to Kate seeking out Persephone. I liked that she was not content to sit back and let everyone else do the work, she jumped right in and did her part to save the world. She really took responsibility for Henry and the other gods and goddesses. I liked it when Kate took charge and took action against Cronus. I liked watching both Henry and Kate change. I liked a lot of things about Goddess Interrupted. I just love it when I can read two or more books in a series in a row, don't you? It makes the books so much more enjoyable when the events of the previous book are fresh on my mind. I really enjoyed The Goddess Test (book one in this series) and read Goddess Interrupted immediately after finishing The Goddess Test. ![]()
